Destino the Musical

Perhaps the most provocative musical to ever symbolize the struggle of the mexican immigrant.

"Destino" explores the issues of the San Diego/Tijuana border life in a frank and honest way rarely seen in the artistic world today.

Destino's script exposes the light and dark sides of both cultures without judgment or opinion, leaving one with a sense of profound understanding and compassion that only a musical of this magnitude could evoke.

The music is unlike any musical ever written, it combines Rock, Mariachi, Bolero, Ballad, Country, Norteño, and Operatic textures, creating the experience of real characters within their "unique" cultural perspectives.

The words and music are composed by internationally known operatic tenor "Maestro Daniel Hendrick", the book and dialogue were written by the award winning playwright, "Jack Shea."

"Destino" will be available in both english and spanish.
